Description:

To sell and expand existing business with national accounts and develop other areas of business penetration which is not currently being serviced by MaxWorld Logistics, Inc. Prior sales experience as well as a proven success record of performance. Knowledge of Far east/South East Asia Preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate (sales assistant).

Specific Duties (including but not limited to):
  • Conduct minimum of 12 face to face sales calls per week focusing on national and local accounts.
  • Send out a minimum of 30 sales proposals to new business prospects per month.
  • Communicate with overseas and domestic offices in a clear, timely and professional manner.
  • Bring existing sales leads and generate new ones.
  • Liaison for shipments in terms of preparation of booking, handover of account.
  • Follow-up on leads generated by overseas or domestic offices and give regular updates till completion/closure of lead. Update Management on progress and customer contact information weekly.
  • Update and maintain your account base/quotations through centralized software.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports to Manager using sales model monthly.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and rate quotes. Explain SOP's to operations team.

Job Requirements:
  • 1 - 5 years of experience selling air/sea/land transportation and services typical of NVOCC companies as well as a proven success record of performance
  • Knowledge of Far East/South East Asia Preferred. Only candidates with prior experience in NVOCC and/or similar forwarding will be considered
  • Must have the ability to develop relationships with existing nominated accounts and extract shipper controlled business.
  • Willingness to cover sales in the Tri-State area
  • Must be able to travel domestically
  • US Citizenship/Legal Permanent Residents only (No H1B/work visas are being sponsored)
