Job Description
National Trucking/Logistics company looking to fill an Log/ELog Compliance position in our Safety Department. Located in the Cleveland area moving to a brand new office building on Rockside Road next year. We are a growing organization looking for talented people.
Ideal candidate must have
- A dynamic personality and strong communication skills and ability to build relationships within our organization.
- Manage driver safety performance to include Manual Log and Elog compliance and take proper disciplinary steps if necessary. The primary candidate needed is someone that knows paper logs/hours of service regulations. Past experience in a trucking organization and Elog experience preferred but not required.
- Manage and retain a designated fleet of Owner operator drivers.
- Establish a good working relationship with each driver.
- Work with internal and external customers to obtain loads for your fleet and dispatch drivers.
- Manage driver availability to maximize productivity of your fleet.
- Perform daily checks on trucks to insure on time performance.
- Review Weekly driver settlements obtain paperwork where needed and ensure accuracy.
- Assist drivers with breakdown coordination.
- Act as a liaison between the driver, customer and all internal departments.
- Communicate with driver applicants, review qualifications and recommend for processing.
- Good communicator, organized, be able to multi task and computer skills a must.
