Job Description
DeltaTrak has an immediate need for a hands on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to identify, analyze, and improve product and process performance related issues. The MEM is responsible for monitoring and analyzing SPC data related to product and process performance, conduct root cause analysis, making recommendations and implementing corrective/preventive action for non-conformance issues. The MEM works closely with the R&D, Quality and Production department to develop and implement new product manufacturing process, standards, create work procedure, create troubleshooting guides, and evaluate failure analysis reports, to achieve continuous improvement quality goals. Additionally, the MEM will be responsible for capacity planning, efficiency reporting and streamlining the operational flow of the company functional infrastructure.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Electronics, manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 5 - 10 years prior experience performing electronic diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault isolation
- 7 - 10 years experience in supervisory capacity with departments P & L responsibility
- Ability to read electrical schematics and understand firmware and software programming
- Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Solid understanding of SPC data collection and analysis
- Technical report writing
- Use of Project Management software
