Required Qualifications:

*At least 5 years of verifiable experience as a freight broker or similar position
*Business and Customer development experience is necessary
*Strong communication skills along with people and time management skills
*Ability to work independently and with our team
*Prior working relationships with partner carriers

Responsibilities:

*Solicit new customers for freight and make cold calls
*Generate new business by adding and retaining clients and partner carriers
*Negotiate rates with carriers and customers
*Manage all inquiries and work with our Claims Department


Preferred Qualifications/Responsibilities:

*A current book of business and partner carriers
*Sales experience
*Bilingual skills in any language is a plus

Salary/Compensations:
*Base salary Commissions
