Experienced Ocean Import Operator

DSV is a thriving company and is in the Top 5 freight forwarders worldwide. We are looking for an ocean import operator for our East Boston Location with a minimum of 3-years' experience with a forwarding company.

Job Description:

At DSV our operators take ownership of our clients from A-Z which is why we need an experienced candidate. We use Cargowise and are a paperless company so experience here is also an advantage. You get to meet the clients and are encouraged to have an entrepreneurial attitude.

The job consists of:

• Monitoring shipments.
  
• Filing ISF and FMC.
  
• Paying attention to overseas charges and
  
• Communicating throughout the globe and its cultures.
  
• Searching for current rates and foreseeing changing climates in the shipping industry.

Qualifications:

• You must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a forwarding company.
  
• You must be a self-starter that's motivated and articulate. A lively outgoing personality is advantageous in this customer service environment.
