Experienced Import/Export Entry Writer
A.S.A.P. logistics is an international freight forwarder and customs broker operating out of New York that has represented excellence in the transportation logistics industry for almost two decades. We are seeking an Experienced Import/Export Entry Writer to join our TEAM!
Job Description:
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operating system.
- Track and trace shipment and notify customer when it necessary.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import/Export shipments.
- Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for Customs purposes.
- Handle client and vendors billing in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers in arranging their shipments, meeting our customer service standards.
- Coordinate with overseas offices and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, and others).
- Understanding of Bookings, Quotes, Customs.
- Entries, Bills of Lading and all other shipping
- instructions and freight documentation.
- Must have excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Must handle Remote Location Filing
- Must have knowledge of Customs regulation and customs Brokerage classification
- Must be experienced and have knowledge of
- Import/Export in all areas
- Knowledge of ISF filing heavy work volume
- Must be able to Prepare and Process Required paperwork
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
