Customs Brokerage Specialist

Responsible for providing and maintaining effective customer service and satisfaction; provide information to resolve customer shipment related issues; interact with management and personnel to establish service criteria and meet customer requirements. Seeking an Customs Brokerage Specialist to help us out with the following duties:


Job Description:

• Processing Customs brokerage for air and ocean shipments
  
• Data entry and processing of various import related documentation for submission to U.S. Customs and PGA's (participating Government Agencies)
  
• Follow up on Customs matters and resolve problems
  
• Handle remote filings
  
• Classify goods in the harmonized tariff schedule (broad range of commodities)
  
• Be a problem solver in a positive manner and be able to generate immediate results.
  
• ISF filings.
  
• Be able to secure new customs brokerage business.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Customs Brokerage for both air and ocean shipments
  
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) English and Spanish.
  
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment
  
• Must be detailed oriented
  
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Knowledge of Customs Brokerage software, experience working with EDITRADE is a plus
  
• Customs Brokerage license is a plus
  
• Must be a team player
