With 3 privately owned state of the art facilities in Australia, and 5 branches in China, we are seeking the expertise of a self-motivated Air Freight Coordinator to join our growing USA headquarters in Los Angeles.

Job Description:
  • Ensure air freight transactions comply with U.S Government Regulations
  • Coordinate with shippers, truckers and steamship lines for customer export shipments
  • Must be able to process all aspects of airfreight shipments from A to Z; including quoting
  • Duties include preparation and issuance of import/export documentation
  • Will perform a variety of duties in support of the organization's air freight activities
  • Willing to undergo cross training within other forwarding departments
  • Will arrange transportation for shipments and ensure timely deliveries
  • Extensive communication by e-mail, telephone & fax
  • Other responsibilities/duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience and knowledge of airfreight
  • High School Diploma
  • Computer Literate
  • Demonstrated ability to deal professionally with customers, co-workers and all levels of management
  • Work well independently and in a team environment; manage time well
  • Be accurate, detail orientated and organized with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good written and verbal skills in sharing expertise, information, solutions and policies with others
  • Must be able to keep up with a fast paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks
