Account Executive
Redhawk Transportation is a 15 year strong 3-PL based in Dallas. Redhawk has a strong clientele base that spans across a wide array of industries. Redhawk Transportation handles various modes of transportation: van, flatbed, full truckload, ltl, reefer and intermodal. We also offer door to door service to both Canada and Mexico direct!
Your Central Mission:
Increase revenue by acquiring new business from a nationwide territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively and continually prospect and maintain growing sales funnel using multiple methods including cold calling.
- Build customer relationships and identify their shipping needs
- Establish and maintain carrier relationships to ensure success in meeting customer's shipping needs
- Shift responsibilities between operational and sales demands
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the transportation brokerage industry
- Be able to think strategically around customer problems to deliver value proposition(s)
- Maintain a growing portfolio of accounts by working with operations team to develop business continuity strategy and excellent customer engagement.
- Have strong negotiation skills in pricing and contract agreements
- Electronically track and maintain leads and contacts
- Display a strong ability to multi-task

Requirements:
- The candidate should possess 2-5 years of transportation sales experience; current experience in the 3PL sales environment is strongly preferred.
- The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in transportation sales along with a proven loyal customer base.
Compensation commensurate to experience.
