Conditions:
- 12 days of Paid Time Off, 3 sick days, 7 paid holidays
- Base Salary plus commission depending on volume.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with truck drivers and customers either by answering their calls or placing outbound calls.
- Track shipment status, reply to emails and process updates on arrival times.
- Independently manage the needs of customers.
- Update account information in a comprehensive database.
- Continuously maintain quotas, goals and metrics for service standards.
- Think on your feet and accurately notate and determine issues with customers and their inquiries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Freight Broker (Freight broker school does not count as experience).
- Established customer base with a drive and motivation to continually grow your pool of shippers.
- Burning desire to own and operate your own business.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Excellent computer navigation skills.
- Ability to work well independently, as well as on a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
