Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated logistic sales professional to join us as an Enterprise Sales Executive to help grow our revenue and expand our reach and brand through prospecting and networking.

You will be working with our customer support team to enhance customer experience and keep high satisfaction rates. You must also be comfortable in a fast paced environment and be able to achieve defined sales goals.

Enterprise Sales Executives inform and educate potential customers on all of the innovative ways that Next Trucking delivers supply chain and logistics solutions.
The right Enterprise Sales Executive candidate will be a sales leader with a solid logistics experience and proven track record. You will be responsible for prospecting, engaging, and closing new accounts by acquiring shippers to use our platform

Essential Functions of the Role:
  • Generating sales leads by networking, cold-calling prospects and building strategic relationships.
  • Actively participate in the business development efforts, spearheading business development initiatives that are consistent with the company's goals.
  • Establish relationships at all levels of organizations
  • Management of required resources to support securing, developing and managing the business.
  • Develop and execute a business development plan that will lead to the successful signing of new business.
  • Work corroboratively with management to develop business strategies that are consistent with local needs to maximize margins and increase revenue growth.
  • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP's) and Request for Quotations (RFQ's) and ensure the delivery of professional proposals and presentations.
  • Work with the operational staff to ensure customers' needs and expectations are met.
  • Continually improve knowledge of the Company's products and services, and follow the changes in the industry to develop new solutions.

Job Requirements:

In order to qualify for this role:

  • You must enjoy hunting for new business opportunities!
  • A background in transportation and freight forwarding.
  • Selling brokerage/transportation solutions
  • Successful track record in direct sales.
  • An ability to introduce new business from your existing relationships.
  • Minimum 7 years successful and stable track record selling all modes of Transportation and Logistics solutions.
  • Knowledge/contacts of a variety of industries to generate new business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Consultative sales approach and negotiating skills.
  • Must be a strong hunter.
  • Solicits customer feedback to design and implement transportation solutions.
  • Reacts well under pressure, upholds organizational values and treats people with respect.
  • Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles.
  • Work with minimum supervision.
  • The ability to travel
