Job Duties:
  • Interact with executive team members, provide product/service pricing and solutions.
  • Participate in developing long-ranging, multi-year implementation plans, including milestones, cost estimates, and resource requirements; and executing company strategy and managing the business to achieve company's short and long-term goals.
  • Be responsible for strategic and operational management of the Supply Chain Management in Americas, from planning through sourcing, until distribution to the 3PL warehouse, at a later stage potentially until distribution to customers
  • Partner with executive management and functional heads in driving Sales & Operations Planning (S & OP) process.
  • Launch products/services and business development projects.
  • Gather and analyze product data, prepare business solutions for efficient marketing and production, and maintain relevant records.
  • Establish, develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and new suppliers to ensure adequate capacity, enforce quality standards and exceed cost and inventory objectives.
  • Provide for selection, training, development, succession and performance evaluations of supply chain management team members.
  • Work closely with site leadership and teams to improve business performance in supply chain management and related areas.
  • Perform other duties as necessary as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in supply chain management, business management/administration, or related field required. MBA preferred.
  • 10 years work experience in supply chain management including experience in the leadership role, commodity management and supplier development desirable, experience in new product launches is strongly preferred.
  • Successful experience building up transport, storage and distribution networks with Third Party Logistics Providers.
  • Experience in planning (demand and supply) and participating in S&OP processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of market trends; ability to use market data to define organizational direction; ability to anticipate and respond to market challenges
  • Cross-Cultural Resourcefulness-Ability and Agility to work in a complex matrix environment whilst respecting cultural differences.
  • Good networking with the local industry and corporate customers
  • Possess highly-developed management skills, as well as: excellent communication skills, understanding, and knowledge of a business and its products.
  • Great research, planning, and development within the field
  • Self starter being able to work under minimum supervision
  • Be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed up to 40% of the time. At times may be for extended periods and on short notice.
